Question on premium hosting

  I am little confused with the way the hosting works here. I want to a do a premium hosting however I own the domain from my domain provider.

  The question is will I need to pay an annual amount to map the domain even if I am in premium or is it only for the free hosting I need to pay.

  Good Morning – If you have previously purchased a domain but wish to use it here at WordPress.com, you need to complete Domain Mapping. Domain Mapping will need to be completed regardless of your plan (free or upgraded) in order to use the domain here.

  Annually, you would need to renew your domain name through the host, and your Domain Mapping through WordPress.com.
