Question re: Stats related to Email sent via Follow My Blog

How are people who read my blog via the “Follow my blog” widget count toward stats? In the email sent, one can read my entire article without ever clicking to go to my actual site. Is there a way to change the email sent out so that they have to “click” to read the rest of the story and therefore go to my site (and I’m assuming count in stats).

Email followers are not counted against stats unless they click on the post title in the email and end up on your site.

Yes. You can email only the summary of your post (first 55 words) with the option to continue reading the rest of the post by setting the value of For each article in a feed, show to Summary.
