Question regarding likes and followers once migrating from WP.com to self hosted

  Hi,

  While I am having a wonderful time using the above free wordpress blog, I am running out of space (I have exhausted 75% already).
  So I am planning to migrate to a self hosted site.
  During migration, will I also be able to retain all my followers (Email and Facebook) and also the likes and comments on my individual posts?

  I am planning to take Linux hosting? Will WP hosting be a better option for migration.
