Question regarding publicize function

    Hi!

I was wondering if there’s any way to stop twitter or wordpress (I’m not sure which of them is the culprit) to include the link to embedded youtube videos AHEAD of my actual blog post link when the publicize function automatically tweets about a new post?

Ideally, I’d want the tweet to just link to my blog and not the youtube video that I have embedded. I’m publicizing my blog, not the youtube video I’ve embedded in my post, you know?

    Thanks.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Nina,

The way Publicize works right now, it will include a link to YouTube videos embedded in your posts. That happens automatically and can’t be removed, although our team is looking into other ways to highlight the media (images and videos) in your blog posts without adding in a link like that. Please stay tuned while we work on that. :)

In the meantime, you’ll need to manually share your posts instead of using Publicize if you’d like to control exactly what links are included in your tweets.
