Question regarding Shop page

Hello, I have lately been revising my website. Unfortunately there are a lot of problems with regards of optimisation caused by the company I hired to build it. I am more or less managing to get them all fixed by me, but I have come across one problem. I have two shop pages, one is the predefined one, the pared of the second. The thing is that I want to just keep the parent, as there is no need to have two shops set in the page, but when entering the parent page to polish a coupe things and set it as the shop in the menu, I have found that the insides of the page are completely empty. The page is completely functional, but I can’t edit anything as there seems to be nothing inside, which I cannot understand. Can somebody help me understand what is going on?
