Question regarding the new theme "Oxygen"

  I’ve just began using the new theme linked at the following: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/oxygen/

  The question I have is to do with the black link box to the left hand side of the page (it says books, featured, etc). I see no indication to how I supposed to categorize my categories to that box and show it on my page. Can anyone help me with this matter, please?

  Hello there,
  I have flagged this thread so it will be moved to the Themes Forum where you can get a response form Themes Staff. I believe you simply for here > Appearance > Widgets and darg and drop a Categories widget into the top position in Primary Sidebar. However, when I do that the background is not black in color; it’s white.

  The “black box” is a secondary menu. You have to create a custom menu and then assign that menu to the secondary menu location.

  I haven’t either. I just looked at the source code on the demo site and found that the class for it is “secondary menu.”
