Question related to paying for WordPress service

    Hi,
I realize that I need to pay yearly for my domain name for each year that I wish to have the website up. I am wondering, however, if I need to pay each year for WordPress’ service to build the website each year I have the website up. Or, do I only pay for how long it takes to build the website. Many thanks!

  • Hi! The domain is indeed a yearly cost as you stated. The plans we offer are essentially for hosting and additional features added to your site (for example, not having ads from our ad network, increased storage, and other features). The plan is also a yearly renewable cost.

When you purchase a plan, it comes with the offer of one free domain registration; so you can register or transfer a domain name for your site. After the first year of the plan when it’s time to renew, the domain is a separate, additional cost alongside the plan.

We do have information regarding the plans we offer here:

Did you have anything in mind for what you’d want to do with your site? Feel free to let us know your aims, we can try to provide suggestions to point you in the right direction.
