Question to WordPress Rep

I’m curious what does this mean? I had heard last night that wordpress changed it’s tos.
Book tour blogs: Blogs that consist of scraped, pre-written content, as opposed to original book reviews, for the purpose of promoting books and driving traffic to other promotional and giveaway sites.
Does this mean members of free wordpress cannot do blog tours at all?? I write my own book reviews btw. But does this mean if a review site sends us covers, preformatted posts on the synopsis and such we are not allowed to post it?

There have been no changes to the Terms of Service or the policies. There are people who did not read them and did not comply with them.
Blogs that violate our advertising policy or fall into one of the following categories are not allowed on WordPress.com:
Automated blogs: Blogs that are generated by computers, including randomly generated blogs, blogs that re-publish press releases, marketing material, search engine results, link dumps or any other mass-produced content.
http://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/Terms of Service section 2.
… the Content is not spam, is not machine- or randomly-generated, and does not contain unethical or unwanted commercial content designed to drive traffic to third party sites or boost the search engine rankings of third party site, or to further unlawful acts (such as phishing) or mislead recipients as to the source of the material (such as spoofing);
https://en.wordpress.com/tos/Book blog tours are a copy and paste meme featuring book promotions of content provided by Marketing Associate/Publicists that are backed with giveaways. They are NOT blogging. They are not actual independent blog reviews at all.

As the WordPress.com forums are not an appropriate place to debate Terms of Service violations, I will be closing this thread.
Please note that any WordPress.com user may submit sites for staff review by using the drop-down option in the black admin bar.
If any sites are suspended due to a violation of the Terms of Service, the site owner can contact our staff here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/suspended-blogs/

I’m also concerned about this one since I participate in Blog Tours, Cover Reveals and Book Blitzes too. However, in blog tours/book blitzes, we are given the option on what to post like excerpt only or excerpts plus book review and/or giveaways.
So does this mean that we can’t participate in a book blog tour if we’re only to post excerpts of the book? Since the latter contains book reviews which are written by bloggers themselves and we don’t receive compensation of any kind for that.

Please read this as timethief posted above:
