Hi there! I’m having two glitches with my site that I can’t seem to figure out how to fix:
1. On my homepage, there is an image of my family — I only want that image on the ‘about’ page. But it keeps appearing on the homepage. Do you know how I can fix this? I tried deleting it as the ‘featured’ image and clicked update, but that didn’t work.
2. My blog seems to be the homepage, and I can’t seem to figure out how to make the homepage a fixed page — not the blog that constantly changes once I add new posts. I would like the blog to be a side page off the menu, not the actual homepage.
3. I have purchased the domain http://www.joyboxstories.com. Do I need to have a premium subscription in order to use this as my wordpress site’s domain?
Thank you very much,
Adria WilkinsThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello Adria,
1. It seems you have the picture set as your Custom Header Image on your blog. Try to open your Customizer to double check it. Here you can find a guide on how you can delete a header image: support.wordpress.com/custom-header-image
(Great pic though, you have a beautiful family! :) )
2. You can easily set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page) for your blog, just follow the steps you can find here: support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page
3. You can use your custom domain name you have purchased, all you need to do is “map” it to your site. Yes, you will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan in order to do it. Here you can find all necessary info: support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain
I hope it helps!
Cheers,
Gina
