Hello,
I would like to create a page with a list of websites and maybe make it so that it has two columns.
I read through https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/columns-block/ and https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/list-block/
Do I need to add the column block first or list block first?
If I want to have my static page show into three columns how do I do so with the posts I have already created?
Why does the video not play one the column block support page?
Also please tell me how to add a follow me button for inoreader.
I use Escutcheon theme.

You’ll add the column block first, then other blocks inside those columns.

First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/
If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these two things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.
2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

I was able to add a follow on feedly using html.
Where do I find the html to be able to add an inoreader button?If I want to have my static page show into three columns how do I do so with the posts I have already created?
That question was not answered. Am I able to do so using Escutcheon theme? If so please tell me how to do so.

I cleared cache cookies, disabled extensions. All browsers are current.
I was unable to have the video play in chrome, brave, and vivaldi.
Windows 10 PC.

Oh, Inoreader, sorry I misunderstood. You’ll need to check with them on this, it’s possible they don’t have a button for it.

That is not possible. You could have 3 columns, and one of them could include a Recent Posts block, but you can’t split it across 3 columns. Some themes are built this way, but yours is not.

Your site stats update almost instantly whenever someone visits your site, but the stats page itself will only show new views once you reload the page – it doesn’t update live.

All themes support columns in posts and pages. All the theme controls in this regard is that it demarcates a content area on the site with a specific width. Inside that content area, content will appear however you lay it out using different blocks in the editor.
What is the difference of using a header image or using a cover block? That support article does not tell me the difference that I can tell.
A header image is something you set at theme level. If you set a custom header for your site, that will appear at the top of every post and every page on your site, though some themes will display the post/page’s featured image instead of the header image if there is one.
A cover block is a block you add inside the content of a specific post or page, to which you can add a background image, and then you can add text in front of that image.

This is not possible, as the header image and the cover block exist in two completely different places on a site.

Post and page titles are used by search engines to index your posts, it’s the heading that will appear in emails to your subscribers, and they determine what the post/page’s URL will be.
If you prefer how it looks to have the title inside the cover block instead, you can use custom CSS (requires the Premium Plan) to hide the post/page title, but I would not recommend not adding a title at all, as the title is the unique identifier for that content on your site, and is used in several ways besides just being a visible label on the post/page itself.

What options can I do with columns in the theme I use?

Does the Escutcheon theme allow me to have one column on the right side of the text of the post or page the text of the post or page in the middle of the page and another column to the left of the text? Or will all the columns be on only one side?
Is that not how the 3 columns will appear using this theme?For example, have a recent post column on the right side of the text the content listed in the middle of the page and blogs I follow to the right of the content of the post or page? That is what I thought was meant by being able to have 3 columns.
Please tell me how to do so if the theme allows.

If you add a Columns Block on any theme, it will divide the space for your content into three columns. It will not add a sidebar to any site of that area. The main column width for your theme is 756 – so the columns would also have that maximum width.

To make sure I understand. I would be able to change the posts and pages into columns for my layout on my theme? If so how please tell me how I change all my current content into three columns.
If that is not the case I am not understanding what I can use columns for on my theme. Please explain what I can use columns for.
