    1) I got a video explaining the platforms but I still don’t see how people that are not bloggers can comment or like without signing in.
2)Please let me know how that works. Do they have to sign in every time? No one is a fan of that.
    3) Mailchimp: how does mail chimp interface with Word Press?
    4) I would like to connect the 2 and only go Premium if that makes this more user friendly.
    5) 4 years ago I was a Gravatar and I don’t see any value in that? I think I remember I had to have another place to log on to using it.
Can you tell me how that works please.
I also find it difficult to interface with Gravatars and finding where to follow them or respond to their comment?
    Thank you,
    Cindy

  • Hi Cindy,

    1) I got a video explaining the platforms but I still don’t see how people that are not bloggers can comment or like without signing in.

For comments, you will need to make sure users must be logged in to comment is disabled under https://wordpress.com/settings/discussion/

You must have a WordPress.com account and be logged into that account in order to like a post or page:

2)Please let me know how that works. Do they have to sign in every time? No one is a fan of that.

In order to like, they will have to sign in every time, but they can set their account to remain logged in once set up.

    3) Mailchimp: how does mail chimp interface with Word Press?

For ways of integrating MailChimp to your WordPress.com site, please visit:

    4) I would like to connect the 2 and only go Premium if that makes this more user friendly.

There is no need to upgrade to Premium in order to integrate MailChimp with your site. A free site can allow this just as well.

    5) 4 years ago I was a Gravatar and I don’t see any value in that? I think I remember I had to have another place to log on to using it.

Gravatar powers the user avatars on WordPress.com, so you are currently using your Gravatar for when you post in these forums and post on WordPress.com sites. There is no need to log into gravatar.com in those instances. For more information on how Gravatar functions with WordPress.com, please visit:

    Thanks,
