Hi,
I have noticed when I have changed my featured image instead of showing it in the post or page it shows as the header image.
I want to put the image on my post or page not as the header image.
Is supposed to happen?
Why is the featured image showing as the header image?
Please tell me how to fix this.

I recently did a search for books since I did that most of the posts that show in my reader are for books instead of many topics. I have not done any tags in my reader.

Hi there,
I have noticed when I have changed my featured image instead of showing it in the post or page it shows as the header image.
I want to put the image on my post or page not as the header image.
This is a feature of some themes and you can adjust it by opening the Customizer and navigating to Content Options. You’ll see a few options under Featured Images. In your case, you need to uncheck the “Display on single pages” option.

All your posts appear in the Reader. What are the search terms you’re using so I can check those?

Hi,
I see on my Loaded Question post that the first paragraph of the post does not show the text looks like it is white. I don’t know why that happened since I did not make any changes.

Hi @ryrhino00, I’m seeing your images as well as the paragraph. Could you send a link to the specific page or post that’s giving you trouble?
Regarding your reader questions, your feed should update near real time. Your own posts can be found by following your own site, or by looking at the tags and categories you’ve used. If you’ll search the support pages for “reader” you can find a lot of really helpful articles if you’re curious and want to learn more.
Also remember to put separate issues in separate threads. It helps make it easier for others to find answers that we’ve already given, plus it helps the community answer your questions faster, since people can easily answer the ones they know. One thread per issue, one issue per thread. Thanks!

Regarding your reader questions, your feed should update near real time.
When I refresh the reader feed the same posts show. That is why I asked how often the reader gets updated.

That is the first paragraph that I see. Above it, I see two images with a green D in between them.
I just followed your blog and am seeing your most recent post in my Reader. I logged into your account and you are not following your own site which is why you aren’t seeing your posts in the Reader. Follow your own site and then let me know if you still do not see the posts.

During one of my first visits to the neurosurgeon, he asked me how I was doing. I rarely know how to answer that question because I want to be honest in my answer. I usually answer that question with something such as “Okay” or “Surviving.” I paused when he asked me that and during that pause he said, “That’s a loaded question, isn’t it?” I replied with, “Yeah, it really is a loaded question.”
I am able to see that paragraph in a browser dark mode only.

This is happening because you have made the color of the text white. To fix it you need to select that Paragraph block and then change the text color from the sidebar.

I did not make the text white.
When I started using Independent Publisher 2 some text in posts and paged change without me changing anything except the theme.

I noticed that on that site the text is white, which is fine because the site background is a different color (green) so it shows up. However, if you copy the contents to brainbombsandchronicpain.wordpress.com, that white text formatting comes along for the ride. This is a bit of an issue since that site has a light background (so white text does not show up)
My websites to learn from post also has some white letters it was also written on WordPress.com
This is the same issue as above. I have manually remove the formatting since it does not seem to be possible to remove it in the editor. Can you confirm that both your Dr Ninja post and your My websites to learn from page appear to be correct now? You should not see white text at this point.
