Questions about a license

  I run my own blog but currently the company I work for wants to start one but it worried about licensing issues. They are going to use it to promote company events, etc. and don’t plan on selling anything (that’s what their website is for) but I wanted to know what are the limitations? I think Time or something uses WordPress, right? I mean I know about not being able to use ads but what about affiliate logos, etc?

  Media companies such as the NY Times and CNN are part of the VIP program, which requires very heavy traffic and several hundred dollars per month.
