Questions about Byrne theme

Hi, I’m looking into the Byrne theme, but before I purchase it, I was wondering if you can add recipe card blocks and earn ad revenue with this theme?

These are great questions. The recipe block will work on any of our themes. If it were me, I would build my site on a free theme, and put that money towards an upgraded hosting plan that will help you in multiple ways beyond the look of the site. See here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
Ad revenue doesn’t actually have anything to do with the theme in use on your site. The theme isn’t going to allow or disallow you from managing an ad network on the site. How the ads are displayed may affect your revenue a little, but revenue is based on many other fluctuating factors like traffic and content. To be honest, you need a very large, and consistent following to make much money through Ads. But we all start at the very beginning, I just don’t want anyone to think that monetizing their site is a quick cash grab, because it’s not that simple.

We have many tools built in to WordPress.com that help your site perform optimally in search engines, and being discoverable by followers. This is all in your favor when it comes to ad revenue potential.
If you want to have more control and manage the ad network yourself that would happen through our business hosting plan seen here. I would focus on building your traffic to a level where the ad revenue could cover the increased hosting cost of that plan first.

Thank you so much, this helped a lot! I just have one more question. If I pay for the premium plan this includes premium themes, so would the Byrne theme be part of that? So I would only be paying for the plan, not additionally the theme as well?
