Questions about changes after the latest update

  Hey!
  After the last update, I have a question.

  I can no longer add a code for a clock to a Text-widget. I have tried different codes (HTML/Java), taken from the same webbsite as I did before. But now it doesn’t work.
  It took a long time to find codes for watches that wordpress accepts, but not even those that worked before are working anymore.

  Is this any different with a Premium-account?

  Do you have any tip how to solve this? Or maybe a code that one can use?

  Hi there,

  We are transitioning to serving WordPress.com sites over HTTPS to make them more secure. Unfortunately, the clock widget you are using right now isn’t compatible with the upgrade which is why it stopped working.

  The good news is, most websites are in the process of moving to HTTPS so it’s unlikely the widget will be broken forever. As soon as the clock widget creator updates the code to be available over HTTPs, it should start working again. The bad news is, there isn’t much I can do to help you in the meantime.

  Sorry I don’t have better news.
