Questions about Domain Mapping

  Hey everybody,

  I own the domain hiptics.com. I switched from Blogger to WordPress, and bought the mapping upgrade. Here’s my complaint:

  When you type in hiptics.com it goes to my blog. Great.
  The problem is, when you’re on the page, the address bar displays hiptics.wordpress.com

  Now, this isn’t a huge deal, but on blogger this was not an issue (even though WordPress is a superior service, Blogger has got WP beat on mapping)

  Am I not doing something right, or is this just how it is? And if so, are you working to change that?

  ps. the big version of my picture (which I am now seeing for the first time) is kind of scary. sorry if anyone gets freaked out haha

  Visit Settings->Domains in your Dashboard and click the link “Put blog here” on the line where your domain is listed. This will set the domain as the default for URLs on the blog.
