Questions about Plan Guidelines and Renewal Rates

    Hello, I currently have a free plan which apparently means I am not able to contact customer support or even sales. I was directed to the community and hope itʻs appropriate to submit all these questions. I was able to find some answers, but still have these remaining questions.

    I currently promote my print-on-demand products (e.g. Zazzle, CafePress, RedBubble) on Pinterest. I am exploring inexpensive options for doing that on WordPress.com or another self-hosted plan. What is the most economical plan that would allow me to manually add hyperlinks and affiliate links to products on POD sites?

    In the future, I may want to automate promoting my POD products on WordPress.com with a Zazzle plugin. It appears Iʻd need to upgrade to the Business plan, but Iʻd just like some confirmation.

    Also, if I sign up for a paid plan, like the Personal plan that costs $4/mo., what is the renewal rate? I only could find renewal rates for domain registration and am wondering if the renewal rate is the same as the initial rate.

    And if I purchase a (paid) plan, are ads automatically removed? If not, what would I need to do to delete ads from all my pages/posts?

    Finally, are there separate TOSs for each plan? I only found a general TOS page and am looking for details on what each plan allows beyond the bullet points on the plan comparison page.

    If these are regular links rather than embedded links with script tags, you should be able to add them with any of our plans.

    Yes, that’s right. You can install plugins with the WordPress.com Business Plan.

    The renewal rate will be $48 the following year. In addition, you can get a custom domain free for the first year, which is a separate subscription. Here are the domain prices:

    Yep, any paid plan will result in ads being removed. No additional action is required.
