Questions about Premium Subscriptions and Multiple Blogs under one account

    Hello,
We are a non-profit and we are considering starting a second blog for a different dept. in our non-profit under this same account. I have some specific questions about my premium subscription that I was hoping someone could answer. See below. Thank you!

    1. I have paid for the premium subscription. Do the same premium options apply to every blog I create under this account if I want to have two blogs? Or, does the premium subscription only benefit the original blog account I have?

    2. I would like to add an additional blog under this account. If there is another user managing the 2nd blog on her computer, while I am managing the first blog on my computer at the same time, but they are both under our THowardF account, will we encounter any technical glitches/lagging/etc… from being logged in and editing two different blogs at the same time?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hey there!

I’ve answered your questions, separately, below:

    1. I have paid for the premium subscription. Do the same premium options apply to every blog I create under this account if I want to have two blogs? Or, does the premium subscription only benefit the original blog account I have?

The Premium upgrade applies to the one site that you’ve upgraded. The features that come with the upgrade (domain registration, no ads, videopress, etc) are only applicable to a single site. If you want a separate site with the upgrade, you’d have to purchase it.

This won’t be a problem. The only issue is that if you have started both sites, then you are the “owner” of both sites. This means that your second administrator wouldn’t be able to make major decisions on the status of the site (ie. to delete it, move it, etc).

Also, if you make an upgrade to the new site, you will be the one responsible for the upkeep of that upgrade. If you’d prefer that the new administrator manage the upgrades, you should have him/her purchase the upgrade.

I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!
