Questions about starting a WordPress business site

My daughter’s husband has a small business (a tree service) and a website that isn’t very good. I thought I might use WordPress business to build and maintain a site for them. So, I have some questions:
1. what will be the monthly cost, with support?
2. how can I fix things so that their old website address reroutes to the new site? That is, so that when people type in the URL of their old site, it goes to the new WordPress business site? -

Support is included in all our sites (even free ones) but I usually recommend the Premium plan if you are new to WordPress. If you purchase the yearly version of the plan ($99/yr) it includes live chat access M-F for help with any WordPress questions you have, as well as a free domain transfer (which addresses your second question) so that you do not have to use the address we assign.
Note that if you purchase the monthly version of the Premium plan it does not include live chat support (priority email support is provided instead) and the domain transfer is not included so that would be an extra charge of $18/yr for a .com domain.

When you first create your site we will assign a staging address you can use to get set up in private. When you are ready to “launch” the new site to replace the current one, that is when you will want to “map” or transfer your domain to us.
When you transfer the domain to us, the new WordPress.com site will seamlessly replace the existing site.
