  Hi! I am trying to create eConstruction.app. We do own the Domain through godaddy, and I do not want to have WordPress the person we pay. I want that to stay godaddy. Is there a way to use WordPress without having the domain owner switch?

  Hi @emil051, sure. To clarify are you hoping to install your own free copy of WordPress at GoDaddy? Or, do you want to host the site here, but keep the domain registration with GoDaddy?

  If you want to host here and keep the domain at GoDaddy, I’d recommend using mapping: http://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/

  If you’re not sure where to host, this may help: our service includes hosting, as well as SSL, direct WordPress support, maintenance, security, and some other features that tend to cost extra with other providers.

  Or, you are welcome to use your own free copy of WordPress with another host, and use community resources or hired contractors as needed. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
