    Hi there,

    In regard to each of your questions:

    How do I edit the copy in the ZOREN theme footer?

    We ask that you not edit the copy of the footer on any of our themes. You can change the color if you’d like, but the actual copy we prefer that you keep in tact. We talk about it right here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions

    How do I disable all comments in the ZOREN theme?

    You can enable and disable comments across your entire blog by following the instructions which are included right here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/

    How do I make the top navigation copy darker (it’s very light gray/hard to see)?

    You will generally want to check out our CSS Customization Forum right here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization , where you’ll be able to find all sorts of tips and tricks for customizing your site using the CSS editor in the Customizer (Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize), however here is some CSS which you can enter to make your menu items bold. It also makes each unselected page a darker color but as it is now leaves the current page a lighter color. You can change that by changing the second “color” option to a different value.

    Here is a resource which will help you choose colors which best suit your site:

    http://www.colorpicker.com/

    .main-navigation li, .main-navigation a {
        color: #000000;
        font-weight: bold;
    }

    .main-navigation a:hover, .main-navigation a:active, .main-navigation .current-menu-item > a, .main-navigation .current_page_item > a {
        color: #BABABA;
        font-weight: bold;
    }

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks for your responses.

    On the DISABLING COMMENTS topic, I already tried those options. Can you check, more specifically, on disabling comments for the Zoren theme?

    Under DISCUSSION, Zoren does not have the option to uncheck the two boxes (“Discussion > Allow Comments,” and “Discussion > Allow Track Backs …”) mentioned in the tutorial — they’re not there.

    For the second recommendation, Zoren does not have “Discussion” as a checkbox under “Screen Options” — it’s also not there.

    To have a comment-free blog, do I need to change themes?

    Did you happen to see the section in the instructions about the missing discussion module?

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/#missing-discussion-module

    You do have to enable that section before you can remove comments/discussions.

    Yes — I noted that in my response above.

    I do not have the option to check “Discussion” — it’s not there.

    Here are the options I see:
    >Show on screen<
    At a Glance
    Activity
    Your Stuff
    What’s Hot
    Quick Draft
    Stats

    I apologize, so you did.

    Are you on a page and post page when you are clicking on the Screen Options tab? The Screen Options change for each page in the Dashboard which you view. So you do need to be viewing the page which you want to be updating your options.

    In this case, you can go in to the Dashboard and then to Posts >> All Posts >> (edit one of your posts) >> Screen Options. There you should see these check boxes available. Once you check them you may have to navigate away from this screen and back again, but the modules should display for you.

    Since you have already disabled notifications for any new pages or posts, you’ll only need to disable this feature for your current pages and posts.
