No problem :)
1. You can either Transfer or Map the domain to WordPress.com. Here are the instructions for either option.
Transfer: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/prepare-domain-for-transfer/
Map it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
2. You’ll need the personal plan at a minimum. The plans, their features, and pricing are in a side-by-side comparison on this page https://wordpress.com/pricing/
3. About a week for the domain to get released, transferred, and back up. Only a few days with the mapping option.
4. You’ll create an .xml site export that gets imported on to the new site. The new site can also stay completely private from the internet until you have it all set the way you want.
