Questions about upgrading

  I am a programmer. I am trying thinking of upgrading to a Personal or Premium plan and am trying to decide which. I would like WordPress to host two different sites. One, probably based on WooCommerce for Rebecca, and another site, which already exists, for myself. My first question: can I transfer files from another domain to one hosted by WordPress? My second question, why are features like ‘Pay with PayPal’ and SEO listed as premium features when there are free plugins that do these things. Thanks!

  2. There are free plugins to do virtually anything but you’d need a WordPress.com Business plan to use them here. With lesser plans the most useful plugins are pre-loaded here and you cannot add your own.

  To answer my own question, I shall switch to wordpress.org. It is just what I want.
