Questions about what happens when I move from wp.com to wp.org

  I will be moving to a self hosted wordpress.org soon.

  I have some email subscribers through wordpress.com. What happens to those subscribers when I move my blog?
  Are the subscribers attached to the domain name or to wordpress.org?
  Should I send them all an email asking them to sign up with feedburner?

  What happens to my stats when I move? I don’t want to lose a year’s worth of statistics and information.

  Finally, will I still be able to log into my wordpress.com account to look at the way things are set up here once I redirect my domain name?

  OK, the subscribers won’t come with you, you’ll need to let them know you’re moving.

  I’m afraid you’ll need to start again with the stats too.
