Questions about Widely Theme
-
Hi, I wonder if I can change the font color of linked texts for this theme. It appears that in Widely theme, the font color of linked text is not different from the rest of the text. Hence, people may not recognize it. Any help will be very much appreciated.
Thanks!
Fondly,
Shabrina

Hello,
I see that you have many hyper linked ‘blue’ text in your home page now. I assume that you were able to figure this one out. I just wanted to make sure you didn’t have any additional questions.
Thanks,

Hi Josh,
Thanks for your response. I actually just switched to another theme as an alternative since I can’t solve it yet. Any additional suggestions?

Every theme has a detailed theme description page. This one is at https://wordpress.com/theme/hum

Hi Shabrina,
I think what timethief meant to give you was the theme page for widely.
https://wordpress.com/theme/widely
Each theme has their own set style. I set one of my pages with the widely theme to see if there were any options that I see in customizer. From what I can tell the only way to achieve what you are wanting to do is to customize the HTML code yourself. I did this with my own page to show you the difference between the theme color and the custom red link I put which you can see HERE
(NOTE: The links still don’t stand out that much. The text simply says “This is a test” and the other “This is the normal widely theme color”)
If you do decide to customize the HTML code yourself here is a link to show you how to add that customization to the HTML <href> attribute:
http://www.hyperlinkcode.com/change-hyperlink-color.php
Please let me know if you have any additional questions or if I can clear anything else up for you.
Thanks again,
Josh -
