Questions about WordPress capabilities

  Hi! I’m looking for a website builder with the capabilities or plugins for ‘membership access’ that will allow access to people who have paid (for a weekly or bi-weekly membership) to a calendar of online classes where they click and join the class straight from the calendar on the website, once they are signed in and have paid for a membership. II found this feature with WordPress but only with monthly or yearly memberships.

  I’d like the calendar to show on the website to all visitors, but only clickable with the ability to join classes once they’ve paid for a weekly or bi-weekly membership.

  I’d also like a plugin that would allow members access to a forum, as well.

  Usually with membership style subscription plugins, it’s possible to gate or restrict access to pages, as part of that plugin.

  I do believe WooCommerce Membership does work with custom post types. So for instance, if you were using something like the Events Calendar – https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/ you could restrict individual events posts.

  So the calendar could be visible, but when clicked through to an event, they would either see the event or not depending on whether they’re signed in.

  I’d also like a plugin that would allow members access to a forum, as well.

  Again, that would be down to a custom post type above.
