Questions on pausing and resuming subscription

    I have subscribed 1 year of website hosting, domain, SSL and they are expiring in 1 month, around mid August 2024.

    I would like to pause my yearly subscription for a few months first and might resume sometime later.

    Upon resumption, would the website settings be removed and I have to re-do the whole website design from scratch. Or they would be kept until it is renewed?

    In some cases, mostly with sites that custom themes and plugins, settings can be reset if the plan is inactive for a while. There’s no plan associated with trevintam.wordpress.com so that wouldn’t be the case here.

    https://trevintam.wordpress.com/ shows a “coming soon” message so I presume you are talking about some unnamed other site? “Pausing” payment is difficult in the case of a custom domain. If you don’t renew it then it is put out there with the chance that someone else would buy it. If you are determined not to renew then you may or may not be lucky and be able to purchase the same domain again later in the year. Best to backup your site now though to be on the safe side as regards any content. If you are talking about another site hosted here at WordPress.com the site would revert to free and something would survive. If you don’t renew a site hosted elsewhere everything disappears. Without knowing what site you are talking about that is the best I can say.
