Questions on purchasing domain..

  Once I purchase a domain from WordPress which is $18.00 per year, what is next?
  A couple of question I do have are:
  • Once I purchase the domain, will the blog content (post –threads, comments and the blog subscribers moved to the new domain or should I have to setup/ purchase some other tools for transferring?
  • Would the SERP get affected by the transfer?
  • Would I be able to customize the template?

  And note that every upgrade here applies only exactly to what it says it applies to. If you want custom design, buy the Custom Design upgrade. If you want to place ads, you’ll need several thousand dollars per month for the VIP program. A custom domain gives you a custom domain and nothing else.
