Questions re: Premium Plan and Theme

  Hi,

  We’re thinking of improving our site so we are studying our options.

  Right now we have a “bilingual website” using a free account. It is actually two identical-looking blogs, one in English (http://hilothealing.com/) and the other in the local language ( https://hilotpilipinas.wordpress.com/ ) linked by a custom menu.

  We are getting help from a designer (much needed, as you will soon see :) and we are considering upgrading to a premium plan to allow him more freedom in terms of design.

  Does the Premium plan cover just one blog? Or will the storage and CSS feature be shared by the other blog? (Both are under the same account.) If we wanted to keep our two blogs looking the same, would that mean subscribing to TWO Premium plans?

  Or if we chose a Premium theme instead, would we need to buy the Premium theme twice (one for each blog) ? Or just once, since they’re under the same account?

  Yes. All upgrades are per blog, per year. It you want, for example, the ability to customize CSS on both sites, you’ll have to upgrade each of them.

  Or if we chose a Premium theme instead, would we need to buy the Premium theme twice (one for each blog) ? Or just once, since they’re under the same account?

  Again upgrades are per blog, so you’ll need to buy the theme for each blog. But premium themes are once-off upgrades – you don’t need to renew them each year but will have them for as long as the blog exists.
