Questions / Request for Assistance on specific design idea

    I am starting a family blog. I would like to create a place on the home page where I can post a “tip of the week” or such around a specific theme. I would also like to have 1 or 2 image boxes that I can change with each blog. I am wondering if there is a way to either meet someone in Zoom (if I send / post a link) to talk through and/or discuss a short term opportunity to help me with design for compensation. If this is very easy to do and a video can walk me through it in easy steps, please feel free to post a link. Otherwise, I am not sure how to navigate it within the constraints of my chosen theme.     Hey there @maryvukelich, sounds like fun :) Do you want the tip of the week to notify your members, or do you just want it to appear on the homepage for those who check it?

    And can you clarify what you mean about images changing with each blog? I’m sure there’s a way.

    I would recommend using a newer theme, though, and possibly using a plan that gives you more control over the site design. This one would open up a lot of options, or you could pick the next upgrade to add plugins or outside themes:

    We do have a service that can build your site for you! I’d recommend reaching out there and let them know what you have in mind at least. I would imagine they’d also recommend the Premium Plan and use a newer theme, but between the two they can create something very much like the one you’ve chosen, just with more options.
