Quick access to logout option

    I noticed in the latest version of WordPress that you cannot always go within the back-office with one step to the logout option. Hovering over the “bleak head” icon – I am sorry to ridicule this image – does not always open the dropdown menu with the options list including the logout link. I would specifically like to have it added to the new Stats page which is nowadays the first page opening after you have logged into WP. Sometimes you want to leave WP immediately, and it is cumbersome if you have to set some additional steps before logging out. The options menu of the icon I referred to should always become visible when you hover over it, or it should be visible in the left side bar of the My Site page. Good luck in dealing with this wish from a generally very satisfied WP user!

    I’m totally with you on this! And have raised the issue this week too: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/odd-new-location-for-sign-out

    I don’t know if a staff regularly peruses the Ideas section, but I’ll tag this thread to let them know that one more person has rallied for the cause of a more convenient Sign Out link. :)
