Quick draft not found. What just happened?
-
I just spent a lot of my day drafting a quick draft from the initial page in wordpress, and I clicked “Save draft” when I was done – and now the draft is nowhere to be found. I was having a bad day already, and this just takes the cake. What the hell just happened?

I’m sorry you’re having such a bad day, Margo. Please tell me the name of the Post you saved as a draft. Thank you very much.

Thanks, Robyn. I’ve tried to jot down all the ideas that I could remember just after it happened. The post was called “Net Neutral.”

Margo, I am so sorry but I can’t find your text either. The only revisions that I see saved are to the title — from “Net Neutrality” to “Net Neutral.” If your Quick Draft had been saved, it would appear in a list beneath the Quick Draft editor.
I am looking further into this issue for you, and will be in touch when I have an answer. However, as this will take some deeper investigation and require the involvement of several other people, you may want to utilize those notes you jotted down after the Quick Draft failure, in order to get that post published.
Until I find out more, please stick with the Post editor. I want to insure this isn’t a Quick Draft issue and I don’t want you to lose anymore content.
I’ll be in touch. Again, my apologies that you’re experiencing this.

Margo, I wanted to follow up with you. I know you experienced trouble with your post a while ago, and you were understandably quite frustrated. If there’s anything I can help with, please let me know. Many thanks!
