Quick question about putting in an image gallery

  Hi all,

  I’m a brand new WordPress Premium subscriber and I was wondering what you feel would be the easiest way of setting up an image gallery on a page of my blog. I’m using the Twenty Sixteen theme.

  I kinda like the feel of the galleries at:
  http://bxslider.com/examples/image-slideshow-captions

  They seem to be based in JQuery. But, I’m no good at writing or installing code. I would be thankful for any pointers.

  Anyone?

  It doesn’t have to be a third-party code thing. If an image gallery function was native to WordPress and I’m just not looking in the right spot, I’d love to hear about it.

  Ah. Found the WordPress Dashboard. I added a gallery widget to the sidebar. It’s not everything that I hoped it would be and more, but it does the job and doesn’t require coding. Looks like there are a lot of other neat things to mess around with as well.
