Quick question about search results

    I was wondering about something curious.

    An google search for “eyeofthewolfe.wordpress.com” did not come back with any results except for one of my posts in this forum. However, my test pages are all live and it did come up in other search engines, like yahoo.

    If I’m specifically searching for my site, why would my pages not show up at all in the results, yet the search results do show the forum post?

    Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Have you setup your google search console thing? If your wordpress site isn’t crawled and indexed by google, it won’t show up in searches. I have found google is pretty slow in indexing new sites, especially if you just let it go at it’s own speed. I would really recommend researching the search console and doing what needs to be done.
