Quick Question About Turning Comments Off

  I looked for this topic but can’t find it. Maybe because it’s a stupid question or I’m not searching correctly, but here goes anyway:

  I have a post with hundreds of comments and readers asked that I open a second post so that they don’t have to scroll through all the comments. So I did yet people KEEP going back to the old post.

  If I turn comments off on the old post will the comments that are there disappear? I want to disable future comments but don’t want to lose all the ones that are already there. Thanks.

  some themes make comments disappear when you turn it off, but essentially they are still there when you switch themes, so look for a theme that fits your requirement.
