quickstats as a widget?

    This is a conditional two part question:
    1. Has someone already made a widget for quickstats?
    2. If not: I would like to try to do this, but I’m not sure how to proceed.
    All I want is the “General Statistics” I have moved the code for this part into it’s own function, and this function is working. All I need to do is create a widget who’s function is to do some initial php set-up, then call my general_stats function (which is still in quickstats.php).

    If you need more information to help me out with this, let me know.
    I’m not an expert at php, but I have enough programming background to get my through.
