quotation marks

My quotation marks are all funky once I add a link to what’s in the quotation marks. The ending quotation mark looks like a beginning quotation mark! I have tried retyping it but once I add the link to the words, the end quotation mark shows as a beginning quotation mark! Help please!

Could you please include a link to a post where this is happening so that we can look at the code?
The workaround fix, if you do not want to find out what is actually causing this (it’s likely the positioning of the html code in relation to the quotation marks), is to use the little “omega” button in your visual editor, which will bring up your “insert symbols” options. Just select the “right” quotation mark for the spot. (I have to do this with any leading apostrophes, since the software interprets any ‘ at the front of a word as being an opening single quotation mark rather than an apostrophe.)

I see the problem in this post > http://blckhouse.wordpress.com/2011/08/03/liquid-hip-features-just-visiting/

Oddly, I don’t see it — I see the correct “curly” quotation marks going in the right directions. Very odd . . .
I’ll look around the blog some more.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend. The weather is grand here and I’m heading for the beach again tonight. :) -
@tt: You’re sooo lucky! It’s rainy and actually pretty chilly here for the time of year, and it rained all day, so there was no time outdoors at all. Poured down buckets. Hope you have a great time at the beach — it sounds lovely!
