Quotes display on home
-
The demo shows the “quote format” displayed on the homepage. However, I can only make it display the nice italic and large font inside the post itself., while on the home always looks a regular paragraph typography.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The italics are coming from the blockquote you’ve placed the text in for the quote post.
Under My Site > Customize > Content Options, you have your site set to show excerpts, which removing formatting like blockquotes.
There are two things you can try:
1. Set that option to display full posts. If you’d prefer to limit the amount of certain posts on your home page, you could use a More Tag.
2. Use a manual excerpt. Edit your quote post and click over to the HTML tab. Copy the HTML (which will include the formatting). Paste that HTML into the Excerpt box under More Options in the editor’s Post Settings.

Thanks Chad I applied option2 and it worked! May I ask another thing….How could I eliminate the time stamp and date of publication of each post from the index in the home page? I want it to show it but only in the post itself.

Glad that helped! :)
The theme’s Content Options (My Site > Customize > Content Options) will hide the date on both, as you’ve probably already experienced.
Hiding it on one, but not the other, would require a bit of Custom CSS, part of a Premium Plan or Business Plan.
