Quotes Post Type

  I would like to suggest that a post type be added for quotes.

  Basically, the idea is to be able to add famous quotes to various places on the theme (home page, widgets, in posts, etc). Right now this could be done with Testimonials but there is no way to tag or categorize them and so it is not possible to specify what pages to show up on when using the widgets.

  So with a separate post type or a more developed Testimonials post type that would allow us to define where to use testimonials vs quotes.

  Post formats are designed into a theme and vary from theme to theme. Some do not have them at all. Refer to:

  Many bloggers who post suggestion threads here are new to wordpress.COm and fail to comprehend the limitations of blogging on a multiuser platform that’s a turnkey operation where only these off the shelf themes https://wordpress.com/themes/ and their features are available for use. That is why I posted what I did above.
