Racist blog: how to remove my comments
-
Hi,
I left two nice comments on a blog but I regret it! After carefully analyzing the posts and the “about” section of the author, I realized I misunderstood his articles.
How can I remove my comments and disassociate myself from this dangerous individual?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@hibiscusjaune
This is a support issue so I’m flagging it and having our Moderator move it to the Support Forum for you.I’m sorry to tell you that the comment removal feature found on blogspot blogs is not available on wordpress.COM blogs at this time. The answer to your question is is that the only way we can have comments removed on wordpress.com blogs is to contact the blog owner of the blog we left them on and request that the blog owner deletes them. Sadly, in the case ot the comments being supportive ones the blog owner may not comply with your request but I suggest you make it anyway.
May I also suggest that you ask wordpress.COM staff to consider adding this feature in the future? If you want to do that then you can contact them using this link. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

Thank you timethief. I wasn’t aware of that fact and I feel horrible right now. I left another message yesterday stating that I misunderstood the purpose of his blog and that I wished to retract myself from the nice comments left on his pages. He deleted that comment from his page but of course left my two first comments.
I’m extremely mad and disappointed in this feature not being allowed on WordPress. I’ll write to them soon.

There is no way to retract what you once said on the record: neither at WordPress.com nor at any other web platform does this exist, because once you’ve said something, it’s on the record, period.

Let me clarify: sure, you can delete comments made, but if you think that works I advise you to take a look at my blog, where I’ve got a recent post consisting of dozens of now-deleted comments by someone who decided to pick a fight with me and then delete the evidence. Since I’m now on page 1 on Google in searches for her real name, you can’t say that deleting those posts really had much effect at all.

However hibiscusj you have your own blog.
You could cover yourself in a blog post article. Of course giving his link, gives too much exposure/PR to him.
But still useful to summarize the incident on the value of the understanding an author’s message intent in a blog post.

Thank you all for your suggestions
@maidiebike: I have already planned to blog about this frustrating experience. However, I will not include a link to his blog because that’s free publicity, so I rather leave his blog in the dark, where it belongs.@timethief: I wrote to the Support team but I don’t know if they will allow such feature.
@raincoaster: I left another comment on his page and I believe this time I was more convincing because he erased everything: the good and the less good comments I left on his pages. Phew!! I googled my pseudo (hibiscus) and no traces of my name on his blog. .
Hooray!!!
