Radcliffe 2: Contact info can’t be deleted from header or footer.
If I Go to Customize then Contact Info
Delete contact all info information and click on Publish (it’s deleted on the preview).
* Go to the site (info still in there).
* Reload Customizer, the contact info is back up in there again. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, it does sound like you are seeing a cached version of your published page, since you said in Preview the information doesn’t appear.
Have you tried logging out, clearing your browser cache and cookies (which will also log you out of any other website you are logged into) and then shutting down your browser. Alternatively, try looking at that page in a browser you don’t normally use when visiting or working on your WordPressdotcom site. Since your site is marked Private, you are going to need to be logged in in order to see any change there, so an incognito or private browsing window won’t help.
I’ve also flagged this thread for Staff assistance.

Hi, I have tried your suggestions and I just can not get rid of the email address.
I’d love to go live with the site but I don’t want a direct email link.

Hi there,
To get rid of that email address, from your dashboard go to Appearance > Customize > Contact Info. The email address field is located there and you can clear that field and click the publish button to update the footer content.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Did you click Publish after removing the address? We can still see it under Appearance > Customize > Contact Info
-
Hi,
I added that a few hours ago. I have just removed the address and email and published yet the email remains
-
Hi there,
I went ahead and removed the email address from the footer.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you. I’m happy to help.
