    Hello all,

    I don’t know if im posting in the correct forum, however im looking for some assistance.

    I am developing a website using XAMPP Local Hosting with the Radcliffe Theme.

    I am almost finished with my website, but i would like the “About The Author”, “About The Post”, and “Comments are Closed” to be removed off every post that i have created.

    I’ve done a fair bit of research and tried installing WP Meta and Date Remover Plug-in, as well as attempting some CSS. All to no success.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance,
    Danny.

    Hi there,

    Please note that these forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If your site is using the open source WordPress.org software you need to seek help at these forums:

    If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the open source WordPress.org software you can read this article:

    Hi Danny,

    We’re happy to help you with the CSS you need to do this, but do to that we really need to see the actual site – plugins you’re using as well as any other CSS you already have added could have an effect what CSS you need to make the additional changes.

    Also note that if the site is actually online, you can use the Jetpack plugin to connect it to WordPress.com, and that will give you access to the Content Options feature that this theme has on WordPress.com, which might allow you to hide some of these options by just toggling a setting in the Customizer.

    I see the WordPress.com site you indicated above, http://relationfit.ca/, also has Radcliffe 2. Is that by any chance the actual site you plan on using? If so, please note that there is no way to upload your locally hosted installation of WordPress to a site on WordPress.com, as we don’t provide any FTP access.

    Put differently, if you plan for the final site to be with us on WordPress.com, then working on a local installation first is actually pointless, as WordPress.com sites don’t work the same as your local site, the version of the theme on WordPress.com is different from the version of the theme on your local site, and the only thing you’ll be able to move from the local site to us is the actual site content, by way of a WordPress export file.

    So it would be better to just do what you want to do directly on the WordPress.com site from the start. As it’s currently set to private, no one can see it yet except you, so you don’t have to worry about anyone stumbling across your site before it’s ready.

    @smitsahatiya
    , Radcliffe is a WordPress.com/Automattic theme. Please do not refer people to the general WordPress.org forums for our themes. Instead, tag these threads for staff so we can help them.
