Radiolab embed fails upon publishing
-
Radiolab (great podcast) has the ability to embed episodes. Here is some sample code:
<iframe width=”600″ height=”130″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” src=”https://www.wnyc.org/widgets/ondemand_player/radiolab/#file=%2Faudio%2Fxspf%2F593638%2F”></iframe>
I add it via the HTML editor, and it looks great when I switch back to visual. Publishing it (or previewing it) breaks the embed. Instead I get this:
http://www.wnyc.org/widgets/ondemand_player/radiolab/#file=%2Faudio%2Fxspf%2F593638%2F
That link takes me to a full-screen player. A solution, but an inelegant one. Any suggestions?

Still no answer. The theme I’m using in called Intergalactic and it’s by Automatic (WordPress’ parent company). Not sure (without testing) if the problem is theme-related or deeper.

I have the same problem. No idea how to resolve. Have tried a few different approaches but always get the same outcome. Frustrating.

No, for security reasons you cannot use Iframes on WordPress.com. You would need a self-hosted WordPress.org site to do that. See here:-
