Rainbow Banner

  I understand that the rainbow banner is temporary however, I do not want it to appear on my pages or wordpress. Would it not be better for the ‘option’ of the banner to be available to those that want it? Instead of putting it on all over wordpress? I am not a technical person, and I know nothing about code. When is this temporary banner going to be removed? I find it personally offensive, as it is against my religious beliefs which are protected under the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution. If others want to display this banner that is fine, however I do not appreciate it appearing on my reader and other wordpress links in my account dashboard.
