  Hi – I want to delete the domain name & blog I’ve set up. I’ve never used it.
  I’d like to keep a WordPress account though as I may want to set up a different blog soon.
  Please can you check I’ve done what I need to do to remove rainbowchilli and keep the account open, and I’ve no payments to make on my account?

  Thanks for writing to us. I’ve had a look at the account. You won’t have any recurrent payments coming from this account – there’s nothing left to renew.

  rainbowchilli.blog was cancelled as part of the personal plan.

  Your free site, rainbowchillidotblog.wordpress.com, is still on the account. Don’t delete that one if you plan to come back and use it again.

  Hello again

  Thanks for your help – I don’t need that free site anymore, as I plan to delete it and start up a brand new blog. To change the domain name do I have to delete the site do this and start another one?

  Hi Tracey –

  I wouldn’t delete the free site. You can leave it be on the account with out any worries at all.

  Just go to My Sites – Domains – Add to set up another free site. They’ll run independent of one another and you can choose which one you are working on from the My Sites button in the upper left corner of the dashboard.
