Random Blog Posts Being Emailed When I Delete A Post

when we delete an old blog post, the system emails another random older blog post to all those who are subscribed. for instance, we deleted a blog post about a funeral service — wanting to be discerning to the family and not having it seen continuously. when we did, the system emailed to all those who subscribe to the blog a blog posting about changing our clocks back when EST changed. we have found that whenever we delete a blog posting, something similar happens. Any ideas?

You’re using Feedburner as your email subscription service.
Feedburner is a third party service (run by Google) that relies on your RSS feed to detect new posts. As such it might not be completely reliable.You can try contacting Feedbruner support for help with this specific issue.
