Random characters, numbers and letters appear on WordPress post

    Hi all, since the recent WordPress upgrade to 3.4.1 I’ve been having an issue with random characters appearing throughout the post (numbers, letters, symbols). They appear throughout the post, almost like a typo.

    Example: hello would change to h3llo, or
    Wordpress would change to W!rdpress

    Basically, they look like typo errors but they are introduced everytime I hit “update” for a new post or page.

    I have been using WP super cache for a long time. The problem started only since the WordPress upgrade. I have UTF-8 encoded in the config file and also header PHP files.

    I have read many forums and I can’t find a solution. Any help would be appreciated!
