Random color change to…..a lot of things.

On the stats page (in both of the two available color choices) the world map image that shows where the most views occurred now looks more like a map of plague deaths in that somber, gray-to-black color scheme.
The world map has been updated and is no longer just a grey/dark blue colour. :)

The main purpose for these changes was to increase contrast to make the dashboard easier for visually impaired users to use. The old brighter color scheme’s contrast ratios were too low, making it almost unuseable for some people, and that’s why we changed it to how it is now.
But now I can’t see it! The Bar Chart has gone!

My stats page map says “is not a valid colour string”
That’s definitely a bug. If closing and re-opening the browser doesn’t clear that up, would you mind starting a new thread so we can help you sort this out, @apetcher? The colors have changed, yes, but it shouldn’t get rid of any functionality.

@torres126, phew! The map is much better now. Orange in one scheme or hot pink in the other, both are better than black. Think I’ll go for the orange.

@apetcher, good luck, hope it works out sooner rather than later. I have an issue with functionality that hasn’t been fixed in a couple or 3 years now (featured posts dropping off “featured” status over time – only shows up if/when you update the post. Only a few people seem to notice this, so apparently WP isn’t trying to fix it anymore.) -
Both the bar chart and the map should be fixed now, please do say if you’re still experiencing issues with them.

This even effects the support chat window as my comments were on a pink background with white writing
Just to let you know, these chat colours have now been updated to be more readable.

Every page I edit that has a horizontal line like that does not show it when I’m editing. Only when I’m looking at the preview or the actual page (not in editor mode), will I see the line
I forgot to mention, but this was fixed a few days ago as well. Please say if you’re still experiencing an issue with it!

Eh? No it hasn’t? I edited a page not even an hour ago and it was still broken. I also just went to test it to see if maybe a newly created line would appear, but nope.

@thyunsuspicious That’s odd, the fix seems to have worked for me! Would you mind please clearing your browser cache?
If you’re still experiencing an issue after that, can you please confirm the browser and browser version you’re using?
