random comments appearing on old posts

  All of a sudden, I’m getting random comments that are being sent to old posts on my blog. They are random in that they seem to have no content relevant to the post, but are rather snippets of some irrelevant conversation. I moderate comments, so I’m trashing them as they appear. But why is this happening? It only started yesterday.

  Do not trash them, but mark them as spam, otherwise Askimet will never learn to recognize them as spam.
