  Hi

  Is there any way i can add a widget at the sidebar that will display random thumbnails of the photos i have in my library. I know there is a picture widget but is not what i m looking for.
  I would like to have 4 – 5 random thumbnails images one under another at my sidebar.
  Maybe with the use of HTML?

  This isn’t really possible at wordpress.COM. You can put a slideshow into a sticky post at the top of your main page (the images you want to use would have to be uploaded or “attached” to that particular post though. It won’t just pull from the media library.

  Another option would be to upload some images to flickr and the put a flickr slideshow in your sidebar using the gigya shortcode. You would have to specify a width that would work in the sidebar of the theme you are using.

  Hmm i tried it and this is not what i am looking for.
